Maternal Child Health
Maternal Child Health consists of Public Health Staff outreach for families that need to be connected to resources, including but not limited to home visits by Public Health Nurses and connections to resources.
Public Health Nurses received referrals and can provide home visits or telephone consultation for education about newborn/infant care, breastfeeding, growth and development, home safety, car seat education, nutrition, parenting, immunizations and connection to community resources.
